As is true with many native Santa Barbara County artists, time spent above

and beneath the ocean surface has lent inspiration to Blakeney Sanford¹s

latest series of work, constructed primarily of epoxy resin and fiberglass.

Sanford's showcase piece for the AAC ³Rogue Wave² exhibition rises thirteen

feet above the entrance and beckons visitors into the space, enveloping them

in panels of variant shades of blue resembling a barreling wave.
